Interior
Rose Cottage is a warm and friendly holiday cottage. It's a home from home rather than a holiday home and guests love its bright and airy feel. But best of all are the stunning sea views across the bay to Cape Cornwall and Gwenver (come rain or shine!).
Downstairs
There's plenty of space downstairs to spreadout and relax, particularly if there are two families staying together, or several generations holidaying altogether. There are two sitting rooms, both with TVs and DVD players, one with a woodburner for cosying-up in Winter and a larger one with fantastic sea views and three sofas. A conservatory links the two, with plenty of occasional chairs to sit and watch the world go by.
There's a seperate kitchen and dining room. As we like cooking, the kitchen is very well appointed with sharp knives, a caffetierre and other 'essentials' that we have at home. Finally, there's a bunk room downstairs, which has a solid metal framed bunk bed.
Upstairs
There are two large double bedrooms upstairs, with the master bedroom enjoying amazing sea views. The second double bedroom at the rear has views of the lifeboat station and beyond, with french windows on to the garden. There's a bunk room and another bedroom at the front with a single bed and a cabin bed (suitable for a teenager or a small adult). Best of all, you can hear the sea at night from any of the bedrooms!
Upstairs you'll find the bathroom with a bath, shower, basin and loo. There's a separate shower room with an electric shower, basin and loo Both have recently been refurbished and offer a contemporary feel to a traditional cottage.
Note, there's no downstairs loo (if that's important for you, or one of your guests).
